We had some pretty awesome seeing, there were some thin clouds on and off throughout the night but they weren't really any problem. Europa was so bright that we could barely integrate without going non-linear! Which, let's just admit it, that's pretty cool. Another fun note, between the two programs tonight we went from the alt 6 East to alt 6 West! I did give flack to NM02 for starting to fall asleep at 10pm because it was just funny. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:00 tcamera 388( 810) 48 72 8.5 10.3 10.3 10.0 8.8 -- 0.77 21:50 tcamera 534( 895) 47 72 10.0 9.2 9.6 8.9 9.6 -- 1.05 23:05 tcamera 584( 955) -19 76 10.6 9.4 9.9 9.5 10.2 -- 1.08 00:15 ecamera 356( -311) -121 71 10.1 9.6 10.1 9.8 10.1 Clear 0.58 04:13 ecamera 355( -391) -123 27 7.7 7.4 7.9 7.4 7.8 Clear 1.07 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 31 3 305 (NW) 2102 mstly clr none 17:00 53 26 6 263 (W) 1757 mstly clr none 18:00 53 28 7 258 (WSW) 1519 mstly clr none 19:00 50 30 4 272 (W) 1481 mstly clr none 20:00 47 28 6 22 (NNE) 1436 mstly clr none 21:00 48 28 4 95 (E) 1425 mstly clr none 22:00 50 23 1 223 (SW) 1244 mstly clr none 23:00 50 18 7 247 (WSW) 1107 clear none 00:00 50 15 10 248 (WSW) 1137 clear none 01:00 51 20 12 260 (W) 1288 clear none 02:00 50 21 11 243 (WSW) 1476 mstly clr none 03:00 47 24 10 264 (W) 1606 mstly clr none 04:00 44 28 8 246 (WSW) 1269 ptly cldy none 05:00 47 26 14 273 (W) 1625 mstly clr none 06:00 46 26 11 269 (W) 1925 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
