Nicfps needed a cold reboot. Working now. Evening started out mostly clear with high thin clouds. At 01:17 tcc stopped responding to commands. I logged into talk2boxes and reset all 3 axis controllers. Initially pointing seemed off, but after a few long slews the magnesensores corrected the position and pointing appeared to be back to normal. We were open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM07 D T/S 01:17 01:22 Rot1 stopped communicating ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:04 dcamera 574( 636) 61 45 5.9 6.8 7.0 6.9 6.1 - 2.09 20:53 dcamera 535( 540) 139 76 6.0 6.1 6.5 6.0 5.8 - 1.15 01:32 dcamera 442( 404) 221 56 5.9 5.1 5.6 5.0 5.8 - 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 21 18 348 (NNW) 659 mstly clr none 17:00 47 21 7 329 (NNW) 541 mstly clr none 18:00 44 18 3 5 (N) 458 mstly clr none 19:00 44 20 7 9 (N) 566 mstly clr none 20:00 43 20 13 9 (N) 625 mstly clr none 21:00 43 20 12 10 (N) 711 mstly clr none 22:00 43 22 8 359 (N) 751 mstly clr none 23:00 43 21 7 0 (N) 673 mstly clr none 00:00 43 22 2 307 (NW) 695 mstly clr none 01:00 43 23 5 2 (N) 750 mstly clr none 02:00 42 22 5 259 (W) 749 mstly clr none 03:00 42 22 7 271 (W) 695 mstly clr none 04:00 42 22 7 267 (W) 673 mstly clr none 05:00 41 21 6 260 (W) 616 mstly clr none 06:00 40 21 4 239 (WSW) 564 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
