The azimuth controller was not communicating over the network to the CSS so we didn't slew. However, we only lost about 30 min of twilight time. Seeing was pretty good considering the higher winds we experienced but the clouds were rather annoying. Dcam started acting up again and Russet turned the temperature up a little and it behaved better. It was difficult tracking given the faint objects but we were able to go so. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW13 D T/S 19:43 20:13 Azimuth controller communications ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:20 DIS 551 124.4 67.6 11.4 12.43 12.64 12.31 11.16 -- 0.96 01:22 DIS 527 40.7 50.0 8.3 8.32 9.08 8.30 8.31 -- 1.22 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 57 13 18 221 (SW) 3161 mstly cldy none 17:00 59 13 23 216 (SW) 2893 mstly cldy none 18:00 57 13 23 263 (W) 2958 mstly cldy none 19:00 54 11 25 246 (WSW) 2877 ptly cldy none 20:00 52 9 22 257 (WSW) 2676 ptly cldy none 21:00 52 8 19 262 (W) 2576 ptly cldy none 22:00 51 7 25 252 (WSW) 2739 ptly cldy none 23:00 50 6 20 268 (W) 2760 mstly cldy none 00:00 49 2 23 267 (W) 2691 mstly cldy none 01:00 48 3 17 264 (W) 2376 mstly cldy none 02:00 48 4 19 257 (WSW) 2472 ptly cldy none 03:00 46 3 17 240 (WSW) 2316 ptly cldy none 04:00 45 1 13 227 (SW) 2382 ptly cldy none 05:00 43 0 17 225 (SW) 2596 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
