Things were not terrible (even bright!) at 4pm. However, 30min before sunset the clouds formed on top of us and we were not able to open. They cleared just long enough to tease UW06 and they grabbed a few exposures, but not much. There was light rain about 2 am but everything blew out after 5 am. CU05 was able to grab a solid 45 min of data and the seeing was even really good! No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:46 dcamera 381( 359) 120 51 4.3 5.3 5.6 5.1 4.3 1.38 04:46 NICFPS 344( 570) 233 54 -1.3 0.3 1.5 0.2 -0.8 MK-K 0.99 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 14 17 250 (WSW) 523 ptly cldy none 17:00 43 13 15 265 (W) 531 mstly cldy none 18:00 44 15 19 263 (W) 632 cloudy none 19:00 41 18 16 239 (WSW) 620 cloudy none 20:00 40 19 15 242 (WSW) 723 cloudy none 21:00 40 20 13 248 (WSW) 740 cloudy none 22:00 40 20 12 258 (WSW) 743 cloudy none 23:00 39 16 13 256 (WSW) 705 cloudy none 00:00 38 14 18 261 (W) 668 cloudy none 01:00 37 14 13 253 (WSW) 798 cloudy lt rain 02:00 36 15 14 256 (WSW) 901 cloudy lt rain 03:00 34 16 12 265 (W) 1022 cloudy none 04:00 33 17 12 264 (W) 1076 cloudy none 05:00 31 18 14 237 (WSW) 1095 clear none 06:00 29 18 21 260 (W) 1007 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
