While we opened on time, JH07 was unable to see Mercury. MERCURY! We, somehow, grabbed a few photons for NM09 but not much more than that for UV05. Why can't it rain if it's going to be this cloudy??!!! No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:31 dcamera 407( 384) 84 68 3.5 5.5 5.3 5.7 4.2 -- 1.20 19:37 dcamera 447( 369) -130 64 4.7 4.4 4.5 4.3 4.1 -- 1.30 21:44 dcamera 473( 393) 129 75 5.1 4.5 4.9 4.7 4.7 -- 1.13 01:02 dcamera 460( 323) 238 65 3.3 3.2 3.8 3.3 3.1 -- 1.11 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 3 14 264 (W) 498 cloudy none 17:00 44 5 13 235 (SW) 674 cloudy none 18:00 41 6 11 218 (SW) 632 cloudy none 19:00 39 6 13 228 (SW) 542 cloudy none 20:00 39 8 13 216 (SW) 950 cloudy none 21:00 41 7 10 229 (SW) 648 cloudy none 22:00 41 8 14 238 (WSW) 823 cloudy none 23:00 41 8 13 236 (SW) 855 cloudy none 00:00 40 9 23 224 (SW) 705 cloudy none 01:00 39 12 18 235 (SW) 909 cloudy none 02:00 38 14 18 242 (WSW) 1202 cloudy none 03:00 37 15 13 264 (W) 979 cloudy none 04:00 37 15 10 263 (W) 905 cloudy none 05:00 37 15 11 276 (W) 781 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
