Even before the snow finished falling, fog descended. Performed numerous tests on arctic filter wheel, but could not consistently get and error. Humidity and clouds passed around 3:00. We opened, but winds were borderline and the seeing was terrible. On a hunch, decided to use arctic on the sky and then started getting numerous filter wheel errors. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 25 24 26 266 (W) cloudy lt snow 17:00 24 18 27 276 (W) cloudy snow 18:00 23 14 13 279 (W) 592 cloudy none 19:00 21 17 15 272 (W) 3800 cloudy lt snow 20:00 22 21 16 315 (NW) cloudy fog 21:00 22 22 11 352 (N) cloudy fog 22:00 22 21 6 358 (N) cloudy fog 23:00 22 20 10 356 (N) cloudy humid 00:00 21 20 13 27 (NNE) cloudy humid 01:00 20 18 24 22 (NNE) cloudy humid 02:00 22 16 17 30 (NNE) cloudy humid 03:00 24 12 28 23 (NNE) 437 cloudy humid 04:00 25 6 26 67 (ENE) 977 cloudy none 05:00 24 8 19 58 (ENE) 621 cloudy none 06:00 24 7 18 73 (ENE) 617 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
