Observing Specialist: T.Rudyk
Evening started out with clouds and borderline high winds and dust. Ecam needed a power recycle during checkout. After 17:00 dust rose high above safe opening limits. We did not open for the first program. Clouds began to thin around 22:45 and dust began to drop, but it was still above safe limits.
About 23:00 humidity caused the dust sensor to shut off, so could not tell dust level, but was still cloudy with winds and rising humidity, so it didn't matter. We gave up after 4am as the humidity showed no signs of coming down until after dawn.
