Was able to reset axes and zero rotator during checkout. We let NA01 AP01 and NM04 have time on the scope, then did a collimation check (no change), pointing model (not yet implemented) and an instrument block for another one of arctic's quads. Skies were clear with good to excellent seeing. Some clouds started coming in around 05:00. Dome was open until twilight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:23 tcamera 850( 987) 43 67 2.5 4.7 4.0 5.0 3.2 - 1.38 21:28 ecamera 420( -582) 10 55 3.2 2.8 3.3 3.0 3.2 ND2 1.04 22:20 shack 670( 1067) 121 58 3.0 2.8 3.4 3.0 3.0 shack 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 3 18 201 (SSW) 901 clear none 17:00 41 2 15 212 (SSW) 907 clear none 18:00 37 0 16 213 (SSW) 1201 clear none 19:00 37 -6 16 200 (SSW) 918 clear none 20:00 37 -7 22 212 (SSW) 1056 clear none 21:00 38 -5 17 192 (SSW) 770 clear none 22:00 37 -3 16 185 (S) 690 clear none 23:00 38 -2 13 180 (S) 1001 clear none 00:00 38 -1 19 198 (SSW) 1029 clear none 01:00 38 -2 17 215 (SW) 920 clear none 02:00 37 -1 16 204 (SSW) 970 clear none 03:00 37 -1 16 214 (SW) 959 clear none 04:00 37 -2 16 218 (SW) 897 clear none 05:00 36 0 17 229 (SW) 766 ptly cldy none 06:00 35 1 14 222 (SW) 743 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
