Seeing was good and we lucked out for a while, as we sat in a huge suckerhole for several hours, but by 21:30 clouds were finally rallying. By 23:45 rain had appeared on the radar, and the observer was getting no science, so we closed up. We did not open again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:11 arctic 621( 767) 19 71 4.4 5.9 5.8 6.1 4.6 SDSS_z 0.76 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 8 15 236 (SW) 901 ptly cldy none 17:00 41 9 13 210 (SSW) 1064 mstly clr none 18:00 40 12 17 215 (SW) 1595 mstly clr none 19:00 39 8 17 233 (SW) 680 mstly clr none 20:00 38 9 10 229 (SW) 766 clear none 21:00 39 10 14 228 (SW) 682 mstly clr none 22:00 40 9 15 227 (SW) 602 ptly cldy none 23:00 40 10 16 226 (SW) 544 mstly cldy none 00:00 40 11 16 236 (SW) 539 mstly cldy none 01:00 40 10 14 215 (SW) 514 mstly cldy none 02:00 40 10 10 240 (WSW) 521 mstly cldy none 03:00 39 10 13 209 (SSW) 670 mstly cldy none 04:00 39 10 11 221 (SW) 708 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
