The night started out with some clouds which cleared a little before midnight. However, the winds were strong and there was too much blowing snow to continue observing. We closed around 20:00 and were not able to reopen. Winds reached over 35mph and the clouds returned in force around 3am. Also around 3am Weather Tap stopped updating and reported that our subscription had expired. I've sent an email out asking how to address the issue. NM01 was not able to observe their targets through the clouds so they donated some of their time to UW12 (about 16min). Russet was scheduled to carry you through to the new year but, unfortunately, her dog Charlie became very ill. I took the helm at midnight so she could attend to him. The Night Log did not auto-populate at the start of the night and nor did it auto-generate at the end of the night. I'm sending this by hand via email so I hope I didn't mess anything up. I parked the dome north so that the sun could warm up the back side. ======== As I feel the Burn of the long night I sing to myself... Should all the good dogs be forgot, and never brought to mind?
