As the clouds grew thinner the humidity spiked. But after a little while it improved enough that I was comfortable with opening. We had poor seeing first half to moderate seeing second half, with waves of high thin clouds once the heavy stuff was gone. DIS behaved well. Last night's tertiary problem showed up again on the instrument change to APOLLO, but I was prepared this time and I got it resolved within a few minutes. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AP01 A T/H 05:36 05:43 Tertrot needs a remap ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:20 dcamera 753( 293) 136 52 -5.3 -3.2 -2.0 -3.4 -4.9 - 2.23 00:15 dcamera 664( 64) -28 54 -5.9 -6.0 -5.2 -6.1 -6.0 - 1.55 05:52 APOLLO 700( 989) 50 31 -5.9 -6.6 -6.0 -6.5 -6.2 530 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 27 20 27 259 (W) cloudy lt snow 17:00 26 19 19 262 (W) cloudy none 18:00 25 19 23 251 (WSW) cloudy none 19:00 25 18 20 254 (WSW) cloudy none 20:00 23 19 17 275 (W) mstly cldy humid 21:00 22 18 15 308 (NW) ptly cldy humid 22:00 22 16 10 307 (NW) mstly clr none 23:00 22 15 13 295 (WNW) mstly clr none 00:00 21 15 21 321 (NW) mstly clr none 01:00 21 14 15 332 (NNW) mstly clr none 02:00 21 15 6 340 (NNW) mstly clr none 03:00 21 14 10 3 (N) mstly clr none 04:00 21 11 7 335 (NNW) mstly clr none 05:00 21 10 9 348 (NNW) 101 mstly clr none 06:00 21 8 15 341 (NNW) 84 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
