We did not open right away. By 1am radar returns had ceased (or at least weren't headed toward us). We opened. The skies were not clear, but the observer's targets were bright enough to observe. The clouds thickened, and rain showed up on radar again around 4:50. We weren't getting science returns, so we closed up, and did not open again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:20 dcamera 766( 770) -98 41 7.4 5.9 5.9 5.8 6.6 - 1.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 -4 9 217 (SW) 34 mstly cldy none 17:00 41 -4 12 193 (SSW) 30 cloudy none 18:00 41 -4 12 238 (WSW) 26 cloudy none 19:00 41 -4 13 244 (WSW) 18 cloudy none 20:00 41 -4 12 216 (SW) 11 cloudy none 21:00 42 -4 9 214 (SW) 9 cloudy none 22:00 41 -3 6 251 (WSW) 8 cloudy none 23:00 42 -2 4 188 (S) 7 cloudy none 00:00 42 -2 4 266 (W) 7 cloudy none 01:00 43 -2 5 264 (W) 15 ptly cldy none 02:00 42 -2 6 186 (S) 9 ptly cldy none 03:00 44 -1 5 193 (SSW) 13 ptly cldy none 04:00 44 -1 10 248 (WSW) 14 mstly cldy none 05:00 44 -1 1 178 (S) 7 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
