So we delayed opening until the clouds were a little thinner. They conitnued to be a challenge for a while but the echelle was able to cut through, and then during the second half the sky cleared up quite nicely. Everything worked very well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:33 ecamera 588( -446) 201 60 1.9 2.2 3.0 2.9 2.1 ND2 0.98 00:20 arctic 762( 678) 31 53 1.3 1.2 1.9 1.4 1.4 4170 1.37 00:26 arctic 781( 695) 29 53 1.4 1.2 1.9 1.3 1.4 3500 1.30 00:30 arctic 754( 667) 27 54 1.4 1.1 1.9 1.3 1.4 475 1.03 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 37 26 15 297 (WNW) 64 cloudy none 17:00 37 27 17 286 (WNW) 69 cloudy none 18:00 37 28 15 288 (WNW) 60 cloudy none 19:00 36 28 13 318 (NW) 81 mstly cldy none 20:00 36 28 14 290 (WNW) 80 mstly cldy none 21:00 36 27 15 288 (WNW) 73 mstly cldy none 22:00 37 24 18 300 (WNW) 85 mstly cldy none 23:00 36 24 12 296 (WNW) 72 ptly cldy none 00:00 35 27 9 314 (NW) 83 ptly cldy none 01:00 34 22 15 312 (NW) 64 clear none 02:00 34 25 11 283 (WNW) 65 mstly clr none 03:00 34 25 6 308 (NW) 60 mstly clr none 04:00 35 19 12 280 (W) 69 mstly clr none 05:00 35 21 10 293 (WNW) 63 mstly clr none 06:00 35 17 5 263 (W) 54 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
