We had some clouds to deal with off and on but nothing threatening. The 2nd program finished a little early due to their target going past the alt limit of the telescope. This allowed the PAO to go up into the dome and start work with their instrument. We were up there until around 5AM (4C, Brrr....) then we came down to the warm control room to finish observations. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:37 ecamera 757( -39) 136 82 5.1 7.0 6.9 7.0 5.7 ND3 0.93 19:28 ecamera 696( -154) 217 84 5.7 6.1 6.4 5.9 5.6 ND3 0.67 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 30 9 312 (NW) 11 clear none 17:00 43 33 1 266 (W) 5 mstly clr none 18:00 42 33 3 35 (NE) 9 ptly cldy none 19:00 42 25 9 5 (N) 13 mstly cldy none 20:00 42 22 13 3 (N) 9 ptly cldy none 21:00 42 22 13 358 (N) 15 ptly cldy none 22:00 42 24 15 1 (N) 10 mstly clr none 23:00 42 26 4 348 (NNW) 8 clear none 00:00 41 28 10 26 (NNE) 8 clear none 01:00 41 26 14 28 (NNE) 6 clear none 02:00 41 27 9 8 (N) 6 clear none 03:00 41 27 7 1 (N) 1 mstly clr none 04:00 40 28 12 36 (NE) 0 mstly clr none 05:00 40 28 11 19 (NNE) 6 clear none 06:00 40 27 10 33 (NNE) 6 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
