Humidity finally started to drop around 01:00. The optidew sensor was frozen, I used the older 3.5m sensor and SDSS sensor to monitor humidity levels outside. This only lasted about 20 mins and then humidity spiked again. I rotated ARCTIC and observed if the diffuser had issues moving in/out. I did not see any issues in any orientation. I places a piece of red tape on the top of the diffuser carriage so I could see it thru the filter wheel slot (removed filter wheel) when it was out. I worked on measuring filters tonight and updating the database. Shelf 10 & 11 are done. I did instrument fills at 02:45, it was foggy again outside. Humidity dropped again around 04:40, I opened around 05:00 to do a pointing model. Since my time was limited I ran the high alt 50 point pointing model tonight. Implemented the model & checked with 1 star on NA2 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05:17 guider 625( 730) 24 54 3.8 4.9 6.5 4.6 3.7 R 1.25 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 41 14 308 (NW) mstly cldy humid 17:00 41 40 6 286 (WNW) ptly cldy humid 18:00 42 40 12 309 (NW) cloudy humid 19:00 41 41 16 289 (WNW) cloudy humid 20:00 41 42 10 269 (W) cloudy humid 21:00 41 41 13 276 (W) cloudy fog 22:00 42 42 16 277 (W) cloudy fog 23:00 42 42 13 266 (W) cloudy fog 00:00 41 41 13 286 (WNW) cloudy fog 01:00 42 32 16 290 (WNW) ptly cldy none 02:00 40 40 12 324 (NW) cloudy fog 03:00 39 39 7 336 (NNW) cloudy fog 04:00 39 35 6 329 (NNW) mstly clr none 05:00 39 32 10 344 (NNW) mstly clr none 06:00 40 30 15 353 (N) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
