I did an axis stop and then an axis init once more, and the problem went away. Evening started out with clouds, but then clearing. Humidity began to spike high even before sunset, though. There were also returns on the radar near us, so we did not open right away. Around 23:00 the humidity seemed to be trending downward, so we opened. It did not last long, as humidity shot up again and we closed around midnight. We stayed closed the rest of the night, which due to GS04's very dim target, meant 4am. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:22 tcamera 654( 874) 64 44 5.2 6.0 7.5 5.9 5.2 Ks 1.04 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 35 20 264 (W) 84 mstly cldy none 17:00 45 38 13 238 (WSW) 34 ptly cldy none 18:00 43 38 15 225 (SW) ptly cldy humid 19:00 40 38 15 209 (SSW) mstly clr humid 20:00 41 37 17 210 (SSW) mstly clr humid 21:00 40 37 14 188 (S) clear humid 22:00 42 37 11 192 (SSW) clear humid 23:00 41 36 18 222 (SW) mstly clr none 00:00 42 38 10 184 (S) mstly clr humid 01:00 41 39 10 228 (SW) cloudy humid 02:00 40 39 7 243 (WSW) cloudy humid 03:00 39 37 3 210 (SSW) cloudy humid 04:00 39 38 2 272 (W) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
