Mostly clear skies, subarcsecond observing, no wind. A Target of Opportunity was called in and UW07 put in place of NM05. The observer logged in late so I marked it as time Not Used. I let DD03 conitnue to observe until UW07 logged in (there was no phone number for me to call, just an email). We had a motion error in altitude at 03:40 at -78, 61. I cleaned the drives and they were pretty clean so I don't think it was bugs. I executed an axis init and then everything was good and there was no time lost. The night log wouldn't generate tonight so I was making it in an email (hopefully everything comes through all right.) ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:03 tcamera 727( 1031) 233 42 6.3 7.6 7.4 7.8 6.6 -- 0.91 18:45 tcamera 664( 921) 223 39 6.0 6.7 7.0 6.5 6.2 -- 0.89 21:54 tcamera 564( 725) 212 50 5.6 5.0 5.6 4.9 5.4 -- 0.77 23:30 tcamera 514( 626) 214 42 4.5 3.9 4.5 3.6 4.2 -- 0.70 00:57 arctic 503( 519) 2 80 3.9 3.4 4.1 3.3 3.4 SDSS-r 1.20 03:47 dcamera 473( 342) -80 59 3.4 3.3 3.9 3.3 3.2 -- 1.38 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 -2 11 330 (NNW) 223 mstly clr none 17:00 45 -2 8 343 (NNW) 202 mstly clr none 18:00 44 -1 12 331 (NNW) 185 mstly clr none 19:00 43 -2 11 324 (NW) 215 mstly clr none 20:00 41 3 10 345 (NNW) 553 mstly clr none 21:00 42 2 6 322 (NW) 545 mstly clr none 22:00 41 -1 5 289 (WNW) 521 mstly clr none 23:00 38 7 5 261 (W) 699 clear none 00:00 39 1 11 321 (NW) 595 clear none 01:00 38 4 9 342 (NNW) 541 clear none 02:00 40 6 8 268 (W) 638 clear none 03:00 39 10 9 304 (NW) 859 clear none 04:00 38 10 2 223 (SW) 840 clear none 05:00 38 12 9 258 (WSW) 882 clear none 06:00 38 10 14 276 (W) 938 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
