First there was trouble with our domain name service which made it difficult for all users to connect to APO and/or see their data. I took care of guiding for the first observer, and there were no interruptions in data taking. ARCSAT had many crashes tonight, in addition to getting lost after maybe hitting a limit or maybe something else. APOLLO did not have tchnical difficulties but was still very difficult because of the moon phase and poor seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:36 ecamera 525( -368) -12 42 2.4 4.8 4.4 4.4 3.0 ND3 1.45 19:48 ecamera 420( -628) -169 78 2.1 2.1 2.8 2.1 2.1 ND3 0.97 23:16 APOLLO 425( 1104) 30 71 3.1 1.7 2.2 2.0 2.3 530 1.70 00:22 ecamera 367( -696) -56 70 2.5 1.9 2.3 2.0 2.4 ND3 1.38 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 -5 6 298 (WNW) 135 mstly clr none 17:00 38 -7 11 304 (NW) 129 mstly clr none 18:00 37 -6 11 308 (NW) 91 mstly clr none 19:00 36 8 11 297 (WNW) 162 mstly clr none 20:00 35 14 13 305 (NW) 440 mstly clr none 21:00 36 14 17 326 (NW) 571 mstly clr none 22:00 36 13 13 317 (NW) 602 mstly clr none 23:00 38 4 5 13 (NNE) 344 clear none 00:00 37 2 4 12 (NNE) 315 clear none 01:00 37 0 7 318 (NW) 220 clear none 02:00 36 -1 10 353 (N) 322 mstly clr none 03:00 36 0 12 338 (NNW) 315 mstly clr none 04:00 35 -2 8 322 (NW) 212 mstly clr none 05:00 35 -1 18 345 (NNW) 234 mstly clr none 06:00 34 -2 11 348 (NNW) 219 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
