The DATAQ stopped updating and needed to be restarted (with a power cycle) at 04:30am. The night started with threat of rain but it cleared up at sunset. We had a few clouds at the beginning of the night and then towards switch over. However, those cleared up after an hour. While things did become clear, the haze was a pain the butt and was killing our transmission, but the seeing was great! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:43 tcamera 503( 1386) 66 65 15.6 19.2 18.6 19.0 16.8 -- 0.82 22:43 tcamera 453( 1094) -74 56 14.7 14.5 15.1 14.3 14.4 -- 1.11 00:31 ecamera 219( -227) 143 71 13.5 13.9 14.4 13.9 13.7 Clear 1.67 03:11 ecamera 270( -213) -78 75 13.8 13.2 13.8 13.1 13.4 Clear 0.81 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 40 7 227 (SW) 747 ptly cldy none 17:00 68 39 15 239 (WSW) 714 ptly cldy none 18:00 68 41 15 214 (SW) 813 ptly cldy none 19:00 63 37 7 253 (WSW) 719 ptly cldy none 20:00 60 38 6 238 (WSW) 786 mstly clr none 21:00 59 39 7 183 (S) 819 mstly clr none 22:00 60 40 7 180 (S) 766 clear none 23:00 59 42 11 176 (S) 887 clear none 00:00 58 43 13 158 (SSE) 860 ptly cldy none 01:00 58 43 3 192 (SSW) 970 mstly cldy none 02:00 57 44 8 159 (SSE) 895 mstly clr none 03:00 57 43 8 184 (S) 934 clear none 04:00 57 42 6 187 (S) 864 clear none 05:00 57 42 3 195 (SSW) 1125 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
