While the tertiary did correctly move, that was not reflected in TUI. It was positioned manually through talk2boxes during switchover and Fritz addressed the issue and now all is working well. Additionally, the azimuth was lost and needed to be reset in talk2boxes. During switch over, the NA2 eyelid would not respond. Closing and opening the mirror covers fixed the problem. Aside from that, we had no other problems tonight and were granted superb seeing for our troubles. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:54 ecamera 263( -5) 98 66 14.1 17.3 16.7 17.1 14.8 ND5 1.39 20:40 ecamera 322( -121) 133 77 13.3 14.0 14.5 13.7 13.4 clear 0.68 23:24 arctic 413( 919) 230 57 13.5 12.8 13.4 12.8 13.1 SDSS-r 0.86 02:49 ecamera 266( -234) 276 50 13.1 12.6 13.2 12.7 13.1 ND1 0.91 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 45 12 251 (WSW) 1323 clear none 17:00 64 43 9 264 (W) 1144 clear none 18:00 66 44 7 185 (S) 1069 clear none 19:00 60 42 10 183 (S) 983 clear none 20:00 57 40 10 187 (S) 936 clear none 21:00 57 43 9 184 (S) 1060 clear none 22:00 56 42 10 201 (SSW) 1097 clear none 23:00 56 40 9 198 (SSW) 1085 mstly clr none 00:00 56 41 12 216 (SW) 1092 mstly clr none 01:00 56 40 11 232 (SW) 1000 mstly clr none 02:00 56 40 7 253 (WSW) 958 mstly clr none 03:00 56 39 7 262 (W) 997 ptly cldy none 04:00 56 41 7 272 (W) 968 mstly clr none 05:00 55 42 9 314 (NW) 1029 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
