About 21:00 clouds began to plague us. The annoying type of clouds where it's perfectly clear between clouds, but the clouds themselves are thick, playing havoc with any kind of guiding you're trying to do as you bounce between losing guide stars alternately from attenuation or oversaturation. Finally cleared out completely around 03:00. Dataq locked up again around 05:00. Restarted parallels (did not work) and the DATAQ service on hub35m (worked). We observered until it was too bright. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:32 dcamera 269( 825) 21 71 15.3 16.8 17.0 16.8 15.6 - 0.85 01:23 dcamera 206( 614) -13 63 14.1 13.9 14.4 14.0 14.0 - 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 39 12 231 (SW) ptly cldy none 17:00 64 41 12 241 (WSW) ptly cldy none 18:00 62 41 20 198 (SSW) ptly cldy none 19:00 60 39 25 218 (SW) clear none 20:00 58 38 14 194 (SSW) clear none 21:00 59 37 18 200 (SSW) ptly cldy none 22:00 59 37 22 201 (SSW) ptly cldy none 23:00 58 38 21 201 (SSW) ptly cldy none 00:00 58 38 20 212 (SSW) ptly cldy none 01:00 57 38 14 222 (SW) ptly cldy none 02:00 57 37 13 225 (SW) ptly cldy none 03:00 57 37 15 215 (SW) clear none 04:00 56 37 14 211 (SSW) clear none 05:00 55 40 18 238 (WSW) clear none 06:00 55 40 14 234 (SW) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
