I kept the dome open the whole night, but I did stop and close covers right around the program changeover when I was feeling nervous and there was nothing to see but clouds. The DIS R400 grating motor was a little flaky and had to be adjusted for both the first and second half programs, but otherwise everything worked well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:43 dcamera 352( 941) 99 47 14.3 17.2 16.8 17.1 15.2 - 1.47 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 37 21 240 (WSW) ptly cldy none 17:00 63 38 21 229 (SW) ptly cldy none 18:00 62 36 15 242 (WSW) mstly clr none 19:00 60 37 13 231 (SW) mstly clr none 20:00 57 38 12 233 (SW) clear none 21:00 59 36 10 220 (SW) clear none 22:00 58 36 12 216 (SW) clear none 23:00 58 37 7 208 (SSW) clear none 00:00 56 40 12 187 (S) ptly cldy none 01:00 56 40 8 188 (S) ptly cldy none 02:00 57 40 9 219 (SW) mstly clr none 03:00 54 41 13 241 (WSW) mstly clr none 04:00 54 41 8 217 (SW) clear none 05:00 54 42 7 240 (WSW) clear none 06:00 55 40 12 269 (W) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
