It was still much better weather than I expected. Seeing was poor first half and better second half (the focus recording script had trouble so I had to fill in some numbers by hand). Despite passing checkout in the afternoon, the agile rotator had multiple motion errors when tracking from -45 to -70, an area where I thought it was normally pretty happy. It only took a few seconds to recover each time, though, so it wasn’t a significant time loss. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:29 dcamera 550( 1157) 105 34 13.1 17.3 16.2 17.6 14.7 - 2.08 23:20 agile 450 BG40 1.82 00:25 agile 475 BG40 1.03 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 54 6 249 (WSW) 175 ptly cldy none 17:00 61 52 12 215 (SW) 156 ptly cldy none 18:00 63 55 12 239 (WSW) 133 ptly cldy none 19:00 58 53 8 205 (SSW) mstly clr humid 20:00 55 50 7 194 (SSW) 127 clear humid 21:00 56 48 7 189 (S) clear humid 22:00 55 48 9 183 (S) clear humid 23:00 55 50 9 184 (S) clear humid 00:00 53 50 7 187 (S) clear humid 01:00 55 51 4 192 (SSW) clear humid 02:00 56 47 2 239 (WSW) clear none 03:00 57 43 3 261 (W) 120 clear none 04:00 53 51 4 243 (WSW) clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
