We finally got on sky. Completed collimation and pointing model. Found a few glitches but no real show stoppers. We accomplished the major tasks to get us back to science. Detailed engineering reports sent to 35m engineering staff. On sky all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:24 dcamera 443( 1103) 195 61 17.7 18.8 18.2 18.4 17.2 -- 1.20 20:47 guider 447( 1233) 200 59 17.2 18.3 17.8 17.8 17.1 clear 0.96 01:18 guider 445( 1035) 46 49 14.6 14.3 14.9 14.2 14.4 B 1.25 03:59 APOLLO 300( 1613) 78 48 13.7 13.8 14.4 13.8 13.8 -- 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 38 12 302 (WNW) 345 ptly cldy none 17:00 70 40 6 268 (W) 289 ptly cldy none 18:00 69 38 13 301 (WNW) 295 ptly cldy none 19:00 67 36 7 296 (WNW) 275 ptly cldy none 20:00 63 37 3 269 (W) 289 mstly clr none 21:00 64 36 2 245 (WSW) 277 mstly clr none 22:00 63 37 5 186 (S) 296 mstly clr none 23:00 61 37 7 176 (S) 344 mstly clr none 00:00 60 43 13 129 (SE) 544 mstly clr none 01:00 58 46 16 134 (SE) 640 ptly cldy none 02:00 58 47 17 152 (SSE) 659 mstly clr none 03:00 59 46 16 178 (S) 982 mstly clr none 04:00 58 47 7 184 (S) 1080 mstly clr none 05:00 57 47 6 182 (S) 924 mstly clr none 06:00 57 47 8 193 (SSW) 788 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
