We dealt with lots of clouds tonight, Although open for most of the first half only 2 hrs were really useful for any science. Clouds were pretty bad otherwise, but no threat of precip allowed us to stay open. After 02:00 things improved. Due to the Echelle not being available, NM09 time was given to NM07 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:27 dcamera 427( 1098) 151 54 17.7 19.0 18.7 19.1 18.8 -- 1.35 23:52 dcamera 552( 1096) -31 28 16.1 16.0 16.5 16.1 16.0 -- 1.90 00:43 dcamera 633( 1141) 95 55 15.4 15.8 16.3 15.8 15.8 -- 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 43 2 228 (SW) 1180 ptly cldy none 17:00 71 42 7 249 (WSW) 914 mstly cldy none 18:00 66 42 14 281 (W) 869 mstly cldy none 19:00 65 39 5 263 (W) 799 cloudy none 20:00 62 40 9 23 (NNE) 1865 mstly cldy none 21:00 63 41 5 255 (WSW) 900 mstly cldy none 22:00 64 40 5 246 (WSW) 868 mstly cldy none 23:00 63 40 8 182 (S) 794 mstly cldy none 00:00 60 41 11 135 (SE) 649 mstly cldy none 01:00 61 43 11 178 (S) 987 mstly cldy none 02:00 61 43 15 203 (SSW) 1475 ptly cldy none 03:00 60 43 20 216 (SW) 1195 mstly clr none 04:00 59 43 17 218 (SW) 1348 mstly clr none 05:00 59 42 14 205 (SSW) 1267 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
