Slew tests were not performed during checkout on account of the wind. After sunset, the humidity rose to high levels, and we remained closed. Winds and humidity continued to stay high through 0300. Wind started to die down around 0400, but the humidity did not drop. We did not open, aside from about one minute in order to let a bat out of the dome (plus side: he/she took care of the moths!) At 4:45 with twlilight approaching, we called it a night. No programs got data. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 39 14 81 (E) 927 ptly cldy none 17:00 72 41 18 75 (ENE) 950 ptly cldy none 18:00 71 50 33 73 (ENE) 1366 ptly cldy none 19:00 63 51 29 75 (ENE) 1353 mstly clr none 20:00 60 54 29 68 (ENE) mstly clr none 21:00 59 54 23 67 (ENE) mstly clr none 22:00 58 54 26 65 (ENE) clear humid 23:00 58 54 21 70 (ENE) clear humid 00:00 57 54 19 78 (ENE) clear humid 01:00 57 53 23 62 (ENE) clear humid 02:00 56 53 21 69 (ENE) clear humid 03:00 56 52 17 73 (ENE) clear humid 04:00 55 52 20 77 (ENE) clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
