Clouds and scattered showers persisted until around 01:00. It looked like it was going to be safe to open, but then scattered storms began appearing on the radar, and some light rain came around 02:00, keeping up closed. Afterwards, suckerholes continued to tease us even as the radar showed rain all around. At 0400 we called it. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 77 43 12 315 (NW) 1123 ptly cldy none 17:00 71 42 13 114 (ESE) 763 ptly cldy none 18:00 72 40 15 137 (SE) 724 ptly cldy none 19:00 72 38 12 135 (SE) 625 cloudy rain 20:00 53 46 34 62 (ENE) cloudy rain 21:00 61 41 6 264 (W) 485 cloudy none 22:00 59 42 8 117 (ESE) 553 mstly cldy none 23:00 66 37 6 205 (SSW) 859 mstly cldy none 00:00 64 38 12 133 (SE) 396 ptly cldy none 01:00 63 40 12 179 (S) 686 ptly cldy none 02:00 63 38 19 136 (SE) 389 ptly cldy lt rain 03:00 62 40 17 131 (SE) 346 ptly cldy none 04:00 61 40 13 182 (S) 512 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
