Poor OU04 needed the mirror covers closed every five minutes to take calibration spectra. UW12 had much difficulty with TUI tonight and it kept logging him off. I suspect that there was a TUI drop down window left open as he was logged off about every 1-2 min but his connection was very slow so perhaps something was just hanging. We gave up tryin to solve the problem and I conducted his observations over the phone. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:26 dcamera 419( 1258) 148 55 21.6 22.3 22.6 21.9 21.8 -- 1.34 23:00 dcamera 420( 1151) 119 62 20.1 20.2 20.8 19.7 19.8 -- 1.58 00:00 dcamera 443( 1157) 73 49 20.1 19.7 20.3 19.5 19.6 -- 1.68 00:53 dcamera 544( 1245) 159 80 21.1 19.8 20.4 19.7 20.0 -- 1.12 02:43 ecamera 450( 312) -5 80 20.5 20.0 20.6 19.9 19.9 clear 0.72 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 78 34 12 265 (W) 541 clear none 17:00 83 35 9 264 (W) 522 clear none 18:00 76 32 5 297 (WNW) 508 clear none 19:00 76 32 13 264 (W) 452 clear none 20:00 73 29 9 283 (WNW) 469 clear none 21:00 72 28 5 283 (WNW) 478 clear none 22:00 71 28 1 254 (WSW) 441 clear none 23:00 69 25 11 228 (SW) 704 clear none 00:00 68 24 8 281 (W) 903 clear none 01:00 68 25 9 329 (NNW) 855 clear none 02:00 69 25 3 318 (NW) 786 clear none 03:00 70 26 8 317 (NW) 852 clear none 04:00 67 22 5 347 (NNW) 869 clear none 05:00 70 27 8 316 (NW) 644 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
