At 23:13, a vertical strip of light began to appear on the left edge of the echelle slitviewer images. Could not find a source of light leak, and it disappeared after installation of the MSSSO U filter and slit swap. Do not know if it will return when the filter has been removed. The echelle started returning zeros at 04:45, it needed a restart of the ecehelle-icc process and a nubs restart to get it to behave. Aside from the 12 minute loss, all programs got thier full times. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM03 E I/S 04:45 04:57 Echelle started reading all zeros. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:49 ecamera 399( 312) 230 52 18.9 20.7 20.6 20.2 20.0 ND3 0.75 03:21 ecamera 284( 9) 180 76 18.1 17.3 18.0 17.2 17.6 U+clear 1.02 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 31 10 264 (W) 574 clear none 17:00 73 30 16 265 (W) 565 clear none 18:00 74 29 12 260 (W) 561 clear none 19:00 71 27 13 252 (WSW) 634 clear none 20:00 67 23 7 262 (W) 624 clear none 21:00 67 22 3 233 (SW) 491 clear none 22:00 66 23 3 252 (WSW) 559 mstly clr none 23:00 67 23 6 259 (W) 579 mstly clr none 00:00 66 22 10 255 (WSW) 586 mstly clr none 01:00 66 21 11 274 (W) 537 mstly clr none 02:00 66 21 6 266 (W) 483 mstly clr none 03:00 65 21 14 305 (NW) 445 clear none 04:00 65 21 5 342 (NNW) 584 clear none 05:00 65 20 13 312 (NW) 589 clear none 06:00 64 20 4 313 (NW) 577 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
