High dust persisted for the first part of the evening, finally settling down around 22:45. There was a break between echelle programs from 01:03-01:16 to perform an IOL. Skies stayed clear for the rest of the night, and we did not have any problems, aside from bad seeing. We stayed open until dawn. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 27 16 224 (SW) 2742 ptly cldy none 17:00 49 29 18 292 (WNW) 20731 mstly cldy dust 18:00 45 32 1 211 (SSW) 35683 ptly cldy dust 19:00 46 33 4 3 (N) 27232 clear dust 20:00 46 27 6 247 (WSW) 7968 clear dust 21:00 42 30 2 339 (NNW) 11657 clear dust 22:00 42 29 7 7 (N) 8585 clear dust 23:00 40 28 6 350 (N) 6528 clear none 00:00 39 27 13 353 (N) 2767 clear none 01:00 37 23 11 306 (NW) 1570 clear none 02:00 34 22 14 303 (WNW) 1159 clear none 03:00 33 23 12 275 (W) 1066 clear none 04:00 33 25 13 282 (WNW) 1205 clear none 05:00 31 24 16 275 (W) clear none 06:00 31 24 13 262 (W) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
