My DIS slitviewer image was not updating (other users had been reporting this behaviour as well in the past). I also noticed that the back/forward buttons were non-responsive, although the currecnt checkbox could be checked/unchecked (didn't affect image). I simply closed the slitviewer and re-opened it and the image started updating correctly (no exit or restart of TUI required). Seeing improved during the 3rd program as the winds change direction. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:24 dcamera 742( 952) 151 78 11.6 14.1 13.8 14.3 13.4 -- 1.50 00:18 arctic 932( 819) 152 56 2.8 4.5 5.4 4.1 3.9 sdss_r 3.40 02:21 dcamera 767( 513) 18 56 4.8 4.8 5.4 4.7 5.0 -- 1.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 20 8 264 (W) 563 clear none 17:00 59 17 4 253 (WSW) 581 clear none 18:00 56 17 6 263 (W) 561 clear none 19:00 55 13 7 330 (NNW) 532 clear none 20:00 53 11 3 4 (N) 568 clear none 21:00 53 9 13 32 (NNE) 665 clear none 22:00 53 9 4 18 (NNE) 629 clear none 23:00 44 31 18 73 (ENE) 644 clear none 00:00 43 31 21 72 (ENE) 603 clear none 01:00 39 30 15 77 (ENE) 515 clear none 02:00 41 27 4 69 (ENE) 851 clear none 03:00 36 27 7 48 (NE) 649 clear none 04:00 43 27 7 1 (N) 626 mstly clr none 05:00 46 25 2 314 (NW) 658 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
