Yay!! Things were a little windy tonight but we had good seeing and clear skies...until clouds rolled in around 3:30. Unfortunately, JH05 was observing ridiculously faint object, like mag=23 so clouds put a hamper on things. They closed up a littler early at 04:45 since they could not see their object. ARCSAT was a pain tonight. First it became lost and took over an hour to square away issues, then there were guide problems, and it would open and close while starting/stopping dome flats even though the 2.5 and 3.5 were closed. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:36 arctic 648( 1269) 227 46 15.2 14.9 15.5 15.0 15.0 sdss-r 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 27 15 265 (W) 461 clear none 17:00 62 24 10 263 (W) 626 clear none 18:00 66 27 18 238 (WSW) 648 clear none 19:00 65 22 16 216 (SW) 591 clear none 20:00 61 18 20 218 (SW) 649 clear none 21:00 61 16 18 262 (W) 558 clear none 22:00 62 16 16 263 (W) 469 clear none 23:00 61 15 19 274 (W) 845 clear none 00:00 59 14 14 265 (W) 512 clear none 01:00 60 15 20 293 (WNW) 569 clear none 02:00 59 16 12 260 (W) 528 clear none 03:00 57 14 19 291 (WNW) 644 ptly cldy none 04:00 57 14 15 275 (W) 639 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
