My first half observer just finished on sky observations and then used the remaining time for a few more DIS wavecals. For the second half observer, using the echelle, the clouds were too thick to focus, so we waited a bit. Clouds off and on for the second half, with clearer skies the later part of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:27 dcamera 634( 1068) 199 79 12.6 14.5 14.3 14.4 13.7 -- 1.25 00:38 ecamera 487( -190) 165 61 9.4 9.3 9.9 9.3 9.2 clear 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 24 27 267 (W) 1390 mstly clr none 17:00 60 23 18 226 (SW) 1276 mstly clr none 18:00 60 25 20 205 (SSW) 1330 mstly clr none 19:00 57 26 18 215 (SW) 1502 mstly clr none 20:00 54 27 18 218 (SW) 2007 mstly clr none 21:00 54 27 11 199 (SSW) 2023 mstly clr none 22:00 53 18 19 265 (W) 2260 clear none 23:00 51 14 9 272 (W) 1114 mstly clr none 00:00 50 15 12 290 (WNW) 1145 ptly cldy none 01:00 49 17 7 278 (W) 1253 mstly cldy none 02:00 48 18 7 270 (W) 1209 ptly cldy none 03:00 47 18 9 280 (W) 1383 ptly cldy none 04:00 45 23 9 264 (W) 1696 clear none 05:00 44 24 10 283 (WNW) 1746 clear none 06:00 43 26 14 301 (WNW) 2920 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
