I had him restart TUI but that didn't seem to resolve the issue. This didn't fix the problem. He said his speed was fine but noticed that the transfer of each FITS file has slowed considerably from earlier. Dimitry was also having problems (on site) with his slitviewer not updating. He said he logged out of TUI and back in but this didn't solve the issue. We used my slitviewer image to align and start guiding. His slitviewer seemed to start working after the next exposure. No telescope problems otherwise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:12 ecamera 1092( 84) 139 76 9.8 10.8 10.5 10.8 10.6 ND1 1.00 20:01 ecamera 939( -108) 154 80 10.0 10.0 10.2 9.9 9.8 ND1 1.00 21:36 arctic 829( 977) 25 73 10.1 9.9 10.4 9.9 9.9 sdss_r 0.68 02:15 dcamera 799( 725) 176 63 9.5 8.4 9.0 8.4 8.4 -- 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 15 14 300 (WNW) clear none 17:00 55 16 13 266 (W) 468 clear none 18:00 54 14 14 250 (WSW) 478 clear none 19:00 53 15 14 218 (SW) 525 clear none 20:00 50 11 13 187 (S) 508 clear none 21:00 50 11 13 184 (S) 609 clear none 22:00 51 9 19 204 (SSW) 611 clear none 23:00 50 9 11 186 (S) 576 clear none 00:00 50 9 13 216 (SW) 667 clear none 01:00 50 7 12 238 (WSW) 640 clear none 02:00 50 7 15 236 (SW) 715 clear none 03:00 49 6 12 259 (W) 705 clear none 04:00 49 7 8 258 (WSW) 705 clear none 05:00 49 8 11 264 (W) 651 clear none 06:00 49 11 14 265 (W) 619 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
