However, seeing was poor all night. We had a couple instances of dust creeping up but it was never bad enough to force closer. Around 4am the wind really started picking up and reach 40mph but, again, it didn't force us to close. The clouds where hanging out over the mountain and causing problems for nearly all of B half. No problems tonight ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:57 dcamera 804( 957) 120 58 11.2 12.7 13.0 12.3 12.1 -- 1.73 00:16 dcamera 788( 791) -120 57 9.9 9.8 10.3 9.9 9.8 -- 1.67 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 16 24 227 (SW) 718 mstly clr none 17:00 57 15 18 257 (WSW) 1259 mstly clr none 18:00 57 13 35 259 (W) 1813 clear none 19:00 54 11 19 264 (W) 648 clear none 20:00 52 11 17 255 (WSW) 757 clear none 21:00 51 12 21 253 (WSW) 622 mstly clr none 22:00 51 13 21 238 (WSW) 632 mstly clr none 23:00 49 14 21 256 (WSW) 758 ptly cldy none 00:00 51 13 16 262 (W) 782 mstly cldy none 01:00 50 14 20 252 (WSW) 802 mstly cldy none 02:00 49 13 19 254 (WSW) 770 mstly cldy none 03:00 47 12 16 266 (W) 4703 mstly clr none 04:00 46 10 22 255 (WSW) 1961 ptly cldy none 05:00 46 9 18 268 (W) 1211 ptly cldy none 06:00 43 8 19 268 (W) 1197 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
