Thankfully, none of them held rain. They did, however, want to stay and hang around. We had an orographic cloud stay with us the entire night and killed any hope of observing in the East. I think I saw an issue with the rotator tonight but I'm not sure. After I set inst dis and slewed to a focus star, the rotator did not move. I had not set a value for rotation, so that might have been it. There were no problems when I slewed to park with a /rota /rotty command. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:09 ecamera 815( -91) 133 28 11.0 12.1 12.4 11.4 11.3 ND4 2.56 20:30 ecamera 822( -185) 185 72 10.8 10.8 11.3 10.5 10.6 ND2 0.99 00:14 dcamera 760( 792) -44 79 10.9 10.6 11.1 10.7 10.8 -- 1.46 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 14 8 262 (W) 466 mstly clr none 17:00 60 16 18 245 (WSW) 466 mstly clr none 18:00 58 14 16 235 (SW) 466 mstly clr none 19:00 55 12 16 261 (W) 466 ptly cldy none 20:00 51 11 19 238 (WSW) 466 ptly cldy none 21:00 52 11 14 231 (SW) 466 ptly cldy none 22:00 51 11 13 248 (WSW) 466 mstly cldy none 23:00 52 12 11 271 (W) 466 mstly cldy none 00:00 52 11 19 270 (W) 466 mstly cldy none 01:00 52 10 10 263 (W) mstly cldy none 02:00 51 11 21 284 (WNW) 466 ptly cldy none 03:00 50 11 12 270 (W) 466 ptly cldy none 04:00 50 12 11 264 (W) 466 ptly cldy none 05:00 50 12 19 294 (WNW) ptly cldy none 06:00 49 9 14 269 (W) 466 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
