Needless to say, we remained closed. Thunderstorms moved in around 23:00. Between rain we were stuck in a cloud. It began to snow lightly around 03:00. It was melting on the sidewalks, but I parked the scope facing south nonetheless. With no hope of the skies clearing before noon, we called it at 04:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 30 34 256 (WSW) 1905 cloudy none 17:00 51 30 27 251 (WSW) 1809 cloudy none 18:00 51 30 27 266 (W) 2353 cloudy none 19:00 50 32 30 239 (WSW) 2576 cloudy none 20:00 50 32 25 233 (SW) 2561 cloudy none 21:00 47 34 12 267 (W) 6551 cloudy none 22:00 46 34 15 258 (WSW) 7411 cloudy none 23:00 42 36 17 261 (W) 6850 cloudy lt rain 00:00 39 39 11 254 (WSW) cloudy rain 01:00 39 39 14 221 (SW) cloudy lt rain 02:00 35 35 16 313 (NW) cloudy fog 03:00 30 29 5 311 (NW) cloudy lt snow 04:00 29 29 12 287 (WNW) cloudy lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
