And yeah, it wasn't great for producing decent seeing. But it was at least better than last night! We were able to stay open all night and even had some periods of 1" seeing. Thin clouds rolled in around 2am and stuck until dawn. They became thicker, making it difficult for UW10. This was the last night for GS02 onsite observing and their undergrad, Dzhuliya Dashtamirova is now trained for remote observing. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:40 dcamera 755( 834) 6 49 11.2 11.2 11.1 11.1 10.8 -- 2.10 20:56 dcamera 732( 764) -36 75 10.5 10.6 10.9 10.7 10.6 -- 1.80 23:03 dcamera 785( 802) -23 74 10.5 10.3 10.7 10.4 10.5 -- 1.16 00:44 AGILE 785(-1262) -137 58 10.3 9.8 10.3 9.9 10.0 BG40 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 26 16 219 (SW) 1052 clear none 17:00 56 25 9 185 (S) 1045 clear none 18:00 56 27 12 182 (S) 917 clear none 19:00 54 25 12 188 (S) 906 clear none 20:00 50 25 14 203 (SSW) 1007 clear none 21:00 51 21 10 186 (S) 1006 clear none 22:00 51 20 10 203 (SSW) 1234 clear none 23:00 51 20 8 190 (S) 1372 clear none 00:00 51 24 24 213 (SSW) 1296 clear none 01:00 50 29 26 201 (SSW) 1117 clear none 02:00 51 31 24 197 (SSW) 1156 mstly clr none 03:00 50 34 26 199 (SSW) 1276 ptly cldy none 04:00 50 34 26 213 (SSW) 1835 ptly cldy none 05:00 48 34 20 208 (SSW) 1931 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
