Occasionally, some clouds would break off that front and pester our observers but with no rain on the radar, we remained open. Aside from that stubborn cloud bank, and a brief scare with dust levels around 21:00, it was a good night and all programs got their full runs. Please add G.Stefansson,S.Kanodia,J.Wisniewski as observers for DD02/R, not enough room in the auto-nightlog. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:00 arctic 768( 1101) 64 35 11.1 12.9 13.0 12.6 12.4 sdss-i 1.14 03:27 APOLLO 700( 1609) 23 38 9.5 9.7 10.2 9.8 9.8 530 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 22 14 225 (SW) 1748 ptly cldy none 17:00 60 23 23 225 (SW) 1786 ptly cldy none 18:00 58 21 23 210 (SSW) 1958 ptly cldy none 19:00 53 17 21 238 (WSW) 2160 ptly cldy none 20:00 52 14 15 254 (WSW) 3349 ptly cldy none 21:00 52 15 25 243 (WSW) 2378 ptly cldy none 22:00 52 15 18 249 (WSW) 1783 ptly cldy none 23:00 53 16 18 254 (WSW) 1596 ptly cldy none 00:00 52 15 18 268 (W) 1631 ptly cldy none 01:00 51 14 12 267 (W) 1727 ptly cldy none 02:00 51 14 14 280 (W) 2470 mstly clr none 03:00 50 14 14 293 (WNW) 2624 mstly clr none 04:00 49 12 15 270 (W) 2647 clear none 05:00 48 11 15 279 (W) 2289 clear none 06:00 47 11 12 281 (W) 1942 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
