Thunderstorms persisted until 19:00, then some clearing, but radar showed thunderstorms just a few miles from us. Post-storm, the humidity spiked and we ended up in a cloud by 20:00. High humidiy persisted until about 22:30 when humidity rapidly dropped, and we decided to take advantage of that. We tested last night's echelle sag adjustment, then switched over to the guider to do a poitning model (it was not quite photometric enough for throughput). Pointing model was implemented. CU02 used the full time for their program. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:53 ecamera 1005( -113) 60 74 8.5 8.6 9.8 8.1 8.5 ND4 1.35 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 39 17 247 (WSW) 1988 cloudy none 17:00 53 38 6 347 (NNW) 2069 cloudy rain 18:00 42 39 17 75 (ENE) cloudy rain 19:00 42 39 12 167 (SSE) ptly cldy humid 20:00 40 40 19 73 (ENE) ptly cldy fog 21:00 39 39 14 75 (ENE) ptly cldy humid 22:00 43 37 4 111 (ESE) clear none 23:00 48 31 4 187 (S) 2091 clear none 00:00 45 29 5 207 (SSW) 2147 clear none 01:00 50 24 5 188 (S) 1766 clear none 02:00 47 26 6 213 (SSW) 1775 clear none 03:00 49 20 3 245 (WSW) 1424 clear none 04:00 47 25 3 266 (W) 1471 clear none 05:00 47 22 3 339 (NNW) 1565 clear none 06:00 48 14 8 336 (NNW) 1515 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
