The backed off at sunset, allowing for good observations. NM04 had a good run. The rest of the night was clear with winds, but not high enough to pose a danger of closing. All programs got their full runs in. Arcsat had a crash and several issues but worked through (most) of it with Jack's help. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:34 dcamera 800( 808) -102 21 7.9 9.3 9.3 9.4 9.0 ND4 1.71 20:45 dcamera 828( 747) -35 52 8.1 8.1 8.6 8.1 8.1 - 1.43 00:12 arctic 838( 874) -59 61 7.5 7.6 8.1 7.6 7.8 SDSS-r 1.29 02:36 dcamera 663( 473) 14 40 5.8 5.8 6.4 5.7 5.9 ND4 1.67 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 49 24 15 265 (W) 668 clear none 17:00 50 23 28 233 (SW) 747 clear none 18:00 48 18 19 265 (W) 837 clear none 19:00 47 17 23 264 (W) 787 clear none 20:00 47 15 22 227 (SW) 704 clear none 21:00 45 14 17 215 (SW) 861 clear none 22:00 47 12 21 212 (SSW) 767 clear none 23:00 47 11 21 215 (SW) 757 clear none 00:00 46 11 21 220 (SW) 1133 clear none 01:00 44 13 23 213 (SSW) 1211 clear none 02:00 43 12 22 203 (SSW) 1034 clear none 03:00 42 11 22 216 (SW) 1304 clear none 04:00 42 9 16 210 (SSW) 1146 clear none 05:00 42 11 26 224 (SW) 889 clear none 06:00 41 11 25 216 (SW) 965 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
