Lots of graupel -like snow, about 2 inches by 19:00. Forgot that snow means snow program, did not start snow program until 20:30. Ran it manually, due to the frequent power outtages. The snow stopped for a while, but started again heavily at 04:00. We did not open at any point in the night. Due to the very low winds, which died down after 22:00 there will be snow accululation on the roof despite regularly turning the dome. The dome has been left at az=0. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 34 24 23 214 (SW) 3281 clear lt snow 17:00 29 28 12 202 (SSW) clear snow 18:00 29 28 23 238 (WSW) clear snow 19:00 27 27 14 251 (WSW) clear snow 20:00 27 27 13 268 (W) clear lt snow 21:00 27 27 18 289 (WNW) clear lt snow 22:00 28 27 16 314 (NW) clear lt snow 23:00 28 27 9 296 (WNW) clear lt snow 00:00 27 27 8 342 (NNW) clear humid 01:00 27 27 14 332 (NNW) clear humid 02:00 27 27 14 324 (NW) clear humid 03:00 27 27 6 315 (NW) clear fog 04:00 28 27 15 321 (NW) clear snow 05:00 28 27 14 350 (N) clear snow 06:00 28 27 22 312 (NW) clear snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
