We were able to stay open the whole night but the UW03 team was not very happy. Everything worked well with the diffuser (yay!) and we had good to excellent seeing the whole night...yeah know, when we could actually see the star. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:24 arctic 742( 741) 112 20 4.7 6.2 6.1 6.2 5.6 UNM-661 1.58 00:17 arctic 830( 729) -24 74 5.7 5.0 5.4 5.2 5.2 sdss-r 0.88 02:45 arctic 842( 727) -67 55 4.7 4.5 5.0 4.7 4.6 sdss-r 0.79 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 19 11 236 (SW) cloudy none 17:00 41 19 10 242 (WSW) cloudy none 18:00 40 18 17 202 (SSW) cloudy none 19:00 40 17 15 217 (SW) cloudy none 20:00 38 17 15 199 (SSW) cloudy none 21:00 40 13 17 205 (SSW) cloudy none 22:00 41 3 14 249 (WSW) cloudy none 23:00 42 1 15 279 (W) cloudy none 00:00 42 6 14 260 (W) cloudy none 01:00 42 8 15 255 (WSW) ptly cldy none 02:00 40 10 13 244 (WSW) ptly cldy none 03:00 40 11 10 261 (W) ptly cldy none 04:00 40 10 11 263 (W) ptly cldy none 05:00 39 14 12 268 (W) mstly clr none 06:00 39 15 14 279 (W) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
