We were able to open on time but the clouds were always an issues. The dust spiked without warning around 18:00 and we had to rush to close. Once the dust levels started to come down, the humidity increased and thicker clouds rolled in. The weather stopped giving us hope and finally just started snowing around 3am. We were not able to reopen. Gcam gave us problems during checkout. We tried power cycling it on the intermediate level to no avail. Russet tried a force disconnect through talk2boxes and that solved the problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:12 NICFPS 805( 1018) 0 79 2.5 4.3 4.6 4.2 3.4 H2-2.12 1.25 19:36 NICFPS 751( 903) 152 71 3.2 3.1 3.6 3.1 3.1 H2-2.12 1.60 21:27 NICFPS 782( 932) 289 69 3.7 3.0 3.6 3.2 3.3 H2-2.12 1.42 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 17 10 157 (SSE) 571 cloudy none 17:00 38 24 12 127 (SE) 727 cloudy none 18:00 36 27 16 128 (SE) 866 cloudy none 19:00 37 22 22 144 (SE) 778 cloudy none 20:00 39 18 21 147 (SSE) 624 mstly clr none 21:00 39 21 19 122 (ESE) 813 mstly clr none 22:00 39 20 21 152 (SSE) 791 mstly cldy dust 23:00 36 21 18 182 (S) 1686 cloudy humid 00:00 30 27 10 185 (S) cloudy humid 01:00 30 27 11 241 (WSW) cloudy humid 02:00 28 28 2 246 (WSW) cloudy humid 03:00 28 28 7 227 (SW) cloudy lt snow 04:00 28 28 16 213 (SSW) cloudy lt snow 05:00 28 25 12 186 (S) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
