But the clouds kept getting thinner and the precipitation passed to the south of the observatory, and we ended up with a fairly productive night. After some software restarts in the afternoon I had to do some work to get dcam talking, and we also managed to bring Tspec back (although the slitviewer is still awaiting a part, due to arrive on Tuesday). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:24 ecamera 310( -574) 159 64 4.0 5.0 5.6 4.7 3.8 ND2 0.89 23:41 ecamera 380( -624) 22 53 3.2 2.8 3.5 2.6 3.1 Clear 1.11 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 9 2 213 (SSW) 534 mstly cldy none 17:00 40 -4 7 304 (NW) 181 ptly cldy none 18:00 38 4 6 247 (WSW) 287 ptly cldy none 19:00 40 10 9 220 (SW) 307 mstly cldy none 20:00 39 12 8 201 (SSW) 311 mstly cldy none 21:00 39 12 9 219 (SW) 337 mstly cldy none 22:00 39 11 11 194 (SSW) 381 ptly cldy none 23:00 38 7 7 213 (SSW) 291 mstly clr none 00:00 38 7 2 229 (SW) 298 ptly cldy none 01:00 37 5 4 254 (WSW) 362 clear none 02:00 38 3 8 249 (WSW) 275 clear none 03:00 37 2 7 259 (W) 380 clear none 04:00 37 3 10 269 (W) 366 clear none 05:00 38 1 13 298 (WNW) 234 clear none 06:00 37 1 9 331 (NNW) 263 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
