Bill said ICC is dead tonight. He submitted a PR. The Dataq PMSS is not responding/could not open acquisition device. We may need a new mask for the 5.0 arc sec DIS slit. I noticed it was slightly mis-aligned tonight. I will try to do that tomorrow afternoon during checkout. Clouds started coming in around 04:00, we observed thru them but they got worse towards the end of the night. No telescope problems. The DIS shutter issue would come and go during the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:38 dcamera 567( 525) -60 39 4.3 4.7 4.8 4.7 4.2 -- 1.30 18:13 dcamera 530( 438) 89 79 3.9 4.2 4.5 4.0 3.9 -- 1.56 18:15 NA2gdr -4770(29229) 89 79 4.2 4.2 4.5 4.0 4.0 clear 1.20 00:12 dcamera 477( 248) -93 51 1.0 1.2 1.8 1.3 1.3 -- 1.54 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 11 11 271 (W) 139 clear none 17:00 40 11 10 263 (W) 146 clear none 18:00 39 11 10 241 (WSW) 217 clear none 19:00 38 11 10 223 (SW) 251 clear none 20:00 36 11 13 201 (SSW) 248 clear none 21:00 36 11 13 264 (W) 196 clear none 22:00 37 8 13 248 (WSW) 180 clear none 23:00 35 14 16 229 (SW) 244 clear none 00:00 34 18 15 263 (W) 258 clear none 01:00 34 17 17 253 (WSW) 324 clear none 02:00 34 18 21 237 (WSW) 294 clear none 03:00 33 17 16 241 (WSW) 290 ptly cldy none 04:00 34 14 24 224 (SW) 295 ptly cldy none 05:00 33 13 23 232 (SW) 240 ptly cldy none 06:00 34 11 23 240 (WSW) 208 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
