Then skies cleared and humidity dropped and we needed to wait for the primary to drop below freezing (about an hour). After that we were on the sky for the remainder of the night. We gave up at 05:55 Telescope left parked due south to remove any remaining snow/ice on the roof. I also left the pit stop button out, in case the day staff needs to move the telescope. All of the other (normal) stop buttons are engaged. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:16 dcamera 357( 10) 142 60 -2.2 -1.0 -0.5 -1.0 -2.3 -- 1.20 22:37 dcamera 482( 86) 215 66 -1.4 -1.8 -1.2 -1.9 -1.9 -- 1.30 00:13 dcamera 471( 79) 228 53 -0.4 -1.9 -1.2 -1.9 -1.1 -- 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 30 28 9 263 (W) cloudy humid 17:00 29 28 6 263 (W) cloudy humid 18:00 28 28 7 263 (W) cloudy fog 19:00 28 27 7 244 (WSW) ptly cldy humid 20:00 28 24 9 222 (SW) mstly clr none 21:00 28 21 7 263 (W) clear none 22:00 29 21 8 305 (NW) 652 clear none 23:00 30 20 8 273 (W) 486 clear none 00:00 32 21 8 240 (WSW) 211 clear none 01:00 32 20 7 266 (W) 191 mstly clr none 02:00 32 18 5 259 (W) 184 ptly cldy none 03:00 31 19 5 255 (WSW) 221 cloudy none 04:00 30 19 7 264 (W) 228 cloudy none 05:00 27 19 9 270 (W) 666 mstly cldy none 06:00 27 18 8 291 (WNW) 695 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
