We were able to point quickly to GS01 and acquire their data. UW10 was suppose to be on next but as the telescope needed a severe pointing correction, EN01 took over. We started with zeroing the rotator (-0.085) and then ran pointing models. A detailed email was sent out on corrections made. The good news is it seems to have worked! Pointing was so much better! NM05 was able to start on time and everyone was able to get their data. The weather started clearing around midnight, though seeing was never great due to the wind. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:01 ecamera 385( -609) 43 46 2.2 2.9 3.7 2.8 2.3 Clear 2.05 00:52 NICFPS 497( 777) 123 64 0.8 1.6 2.5 1.7 1.1 MK-H 2.07 01:51 NICFPS 605( 808) 136 74 -0.1 0.2 0.8 0.1 0.2 MK-K 1.82 03:23 NICFPS 500( 690) 189 80 0.6 -0.0 0.6 0.0 0.6 MK-H 1.51 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 0 3 186 (S) 127 ptly cldy none 17:00 44 0 7 91 (E) 93 ptly cldy none 18:00 42 -2 14 80 (E) 128 mstly cldy none 19:00 42 -4 17 64 (ENE) 128 mstly cldy none 20:00 44 -1 15 64 (ENE) 114 mstly cldy none 21:00 44 -1 14 71 (ENE) 99 ptly cldy none 22:00 40 -5 20 73 (ENE) 157 mstly clr none 23:00 39 -5 20 76 (ENE) 157 clear none 00:00 36 -9 20 81 (E) 212 clear none 01:00 33 -3 26 74 (ENE) 543 clear none 02:00 31 0 26 72 (ENE) 1006 clear none 03:00 32 0 25 73 (ENE) 704 clear none 04:00 33 -1 19 76 (ENE) 590 clear none 05:00 32 1 19 76 (ENE) 658 clear none 06:00 32 -1 12 85 (E) 569 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
