Observing Specialist: R.McMillan
We had heavy clouds and a few raindrops before sunset, but a hole opened up and I decided to take a chance.  We were open only a few minutes while I stayed up in the dome and just guessed at the focus, but it was enough for the first program to get spectra on three targets.  Then I closed.
Later, the rain threat was gone and the clouds lingered, but they were starting to get thinner.  I opened and took a few spectra for the second program.  Then just as the third program was trying to get started, low fog-like clouds moved in and covered everything.  The humidity went up and stayed up.  We weren't able to re-open.
During second half, I did some in-dome engineering tasks with DIS.
