It was a hard hit and took me over 20min to move the telescope off the crash sensor. Once we got on sky we saw that we weren’t missing much. The seeing was nearly 5” and refused to drop until midnight hen arctic came on. It got rather nippy tonight and when I checked on Apollo the SBIG values were 0. I crawled under the telescope to turn on the laser and wake up the pump and then everything was good. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GS01 D T/H 17:08 17:31 Dome collision due to wind ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:39 dcamera 449( 506) 37 45 4.6 6.8 7.5 6.0 5.2 -- 4.55 19:00 tcamera 350( 462) -2 43 3.0 3.9 5.1 3.7 3.2 -- 3.42 19:37 tcamera 598( 665) -13 52 2.9 3.2 4.2 3.2 2.9 -- 3.18 00:20 arctic 533( 489) 91 49 5.0 1.9 2.7 2.2 3.8 sdss_i 1.18 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 14 20 75 (ENE) 261 ptly cldy none 17:00 42 14 11 89 (E) 619 ptly cldy none 18:00 40 15 18 77 (ENE) 1168 ptly cldy none 19:00 38 15 25 73 (ENE) 1816 mstly clr none 20:00 36 16 15 86 (E) 2306 mstly clr none 21:00 36 16 20 84 (E) 2030 mstly clr none 22:00 35 17 21 80 (E) 1486 mstly clr none 23:00 33 18 14 61 (ENE) 1505 mstly clr none 00:00 41 17 8 331 (NNW) 1413 mstly clr none 01:00 39 16 7 313 (NW) 1585 mstly clr none 02:00 37 16 4 233 (SW) 1817 mstly clr none 03:00 36 16 3 222 (SW) 1952 mstly clr none 04:00 35 16 2 217 (SW) 1820 mstly clr none 05:00 35 17 4 271 (W) 1827 mstly clr none 06:00 38 16 11 301 (WNW) 1573 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
